Technology fans in the UAE have something exciting to look forward to this March. Apple has officially introduced two highly anticipated devices to the local market: the iPhone 17e and the new iPad Air powered by the M4 chip. Designed to deliver strong performance at competitive entry prices, both products aim to balance premium features with everyday practicality.

The latest lineup reflects Apple’s continued focus on performance upgrades, refined design, and improved storage options — all while maintaining accessible pricing for users who want advanced technology without stepping into ultra-premium territory.

The iPhone 17e arrives as a refreshed option for users who want modern performance and photography capabilities in a sleek, compact form. It features a 6.1-inch Superkope Retina XDR display protected by Ceramic Shield 2, offering durability and vibrant visuals for streaming, browsing, and gaming. Powered by the new A19 chip, the device promises smooth multitasking and efficient energy management. Apple’s C1X modem enhances connectivity, ensuring stable and fast network performance.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 48MP Fusion camera system, which includes optical-quality 2x telephoto capability. This allows users to capture sharper portraits and detailed shots without the need for multiple lenses. The device also supports MagSafe wireless charging for added convenience.

Meanwhile, the iPad Air M4 positions itself as a powerful yet lightweight tablet suitable for students, professionals, and creatives. Equipped with the M4 chip, it offers faster CPU and GPU performance alongside an upgraded Neural Engine for smoother app experiences and efficient workflows. Whether editing photos, managing documents, or streaming content, the new iPad Air is built to handle demanding tasks effortlessly.

Available in both 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, the device supports Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G connectivity through Apple’s C1X modem. It is compatible with Apple Pencil Pro and the Magic Keyboard, making it a strong option for productivity and creative work on the go.

For buyers in the UAE, the most important details come down to pricing and availability. Pre-orders for both the iPhone 17e and iPad Air M4 begin on Wednesday, March 4, with official retail availability starting Wednesday, March 11.

The iPhone 17e starts at Dh2,599 and now comes with 256GB of base storage — double the previous generation at the same starting price. It is available in Black, White, and Soft Pink with a premium matte finish.

The 11-inch iPad Air M4 is priced at Dh2,499, while the larger 13-inch model starts at Dh3,299.

With upgraded chips, improved storage, and competitive pricing, Apple’s latest UAE launches are set to attract both first-time buyers and long-time users looking for reliable performance and refined design in 2026.
