If you're thinking about a staycation immersed in nature, now is the time to make your reservation.

After three years of operation, Tiny Away Escape @ Lazarus Island has announced plans to close next year.

According to a social media update from the company on March 27, bookings for the tiny houses will remain open until January 31, 2027.

"Since our opening in May 2023, this charming island getaway has been part of many significant moments, including cherished memories shared by pet owners and their furry companions," the company stated.

"As this chapter comes to a close, there is still time for a few more ferry rides, tranquil shoreline walks, and serene mornings on the island."

The company is urging holidaymakers to book a stay for "one last chapter on Lazarus Island" before operations cease.

AsiaOne has contacted Big Tiny for additional information.

Tiny Away Escape @ Lazarus Island was created by Big Tiny, a Singapore-based ecotourism start-up, and is part of the Sentosa Development Corporation's initiative to promote eco-tourism in the Southern Islands.

The five tiny houses primarily operate on solar-generated power.

Each house spans approximately 150 square feet, accommodating two to four guests, along with their pets. Each unit features a unique theme, including retro, industrial, and modern designs.

Rates start at $284 per night.

To reach these tiny houses on Lazarus Island, guests can take a 15-minute boat ride from Sentosa Jetty @ Cove or a 20-minute trip from Marina South Pier.
